Our driving tips
Off-Road Driving: It is NOT permitted to drive off-road with our rental cars.
Do not leave property in the car when you park the car.

Reduce your speed during rain — the roads become very slippery due to oil on the road.
Right of Way: At T-intersections, vehicles on the main road ALWAYS have the right of way.
Turn Signals: Expect that turn signals are rarely used by other drivers.
Overtaking: On four-lane roads, you can overtake on both lanes.
Speed Limits: Within urban areas, the speed limit is 40 km/h. Outside urban areas, it is 60 km/h unless otherwise posted.
Seatbelts: Use of seatbelts is mandatory.
Smoking is not allowed in the car. This carries a fine of €500.
Wet Clothing: Avoid entering the car with wet swimwear.
Footwear: It is highly recommended not to drive with flip-flops or sandals.
Fuel Policy: Return the car on time and with a full tank as agreed.

Parking in Willemstad
In Willemstad you can park in two locations:
- Punda: Pietermaai Parking — NAFL 3.- per hour.
- Otrobanda: Renaissance Mall offers free parking.
